Flicking through my sketchbook these stood out to me as if they were a "choose the missing one out" question. Apart from the odd one out they all seem to have a sort of theme. If I remember rightly I did draw them in quick concession and with pizza, cats, and aliens on my mind. The odd one is a preliminary sketch for a concept I have been working on for about a month or so. I do hope it comes to fruition soon.
Albeit slightly unrelated to the sketches, recently I have been reflecting on my own needs and wants. An inclining lingers always at the back of my mind, that some things are just not serving me anymore. I hope to be able to scratch this itch, but until them I am sketching, drawing, paiting, and sculpting the time away.
スケッチブックをめくってみると、まるで「浮いた存在のを選んでください」と言わんばかりに、これらの作品が目に飛び込んできました。奇妙なものを除けば、どれもある種のテーマを持っているように見えます。記憶が正しければ、ピザ、猫、宇宙人を思い浮かべながら、素早く譲歩して描いたのだと思います。奇妙ものは、1ヶ月ほど前から取り組んでいるコンセプトの下絵です。早く実現したいですね。
スケッチとは少し関係ありませんが、最近、自分自身のニーズとウォンツを振り返っています。心の奥底には、もう自分には合わないものがあるのではないかという気持ちが常に残っています。この痒いところに手が届くようになりたいと願っていますが、それまではスケッチ、ドローイング、ペインティング、スカルプティングで時間を潰しています。
