its been awhile. I wanted to post about this event sooner, but right before this event I was visiting family for two weeks, and right after the event I started my new job! My new role is teaching twice a week at a college. I teach a Design & English class as well as a Fashion Design Illustration class at Tokyo Designer Academy.
So as it was it's been hard for me to get my disorganised self together and post here about the event. It was my first time doing a WEEK long event and my first Japanese department store experience. I learnt a lot and although it was tough standing everyday for over eight hours it was great to spend the time with the other four ladies that participated in the event with me alongside all of the friends and new faces I got to meet. After moving to Tokyo in September 2023 it was nice to go to Osaka for a week(I lived there for about six years previously).
I also made some brand new products for this event including key rings made from recycled paper clay and wash-tape. They both sold out so I was happy that trying something new worked out so well and everyone enjoyed them so much.
久しぶり！もうすごく遅れているけど、三月阪神百貨店でイベントを参加しました！でもその前家族二週間ぐらい会いに行ったし、イベントの後も新しい仕事始まったです。忙しくて、ポストできなくてすみません！で！新し仕事は東京デザイナーアカデミーでデザイン用英語とファッションデザインイラストの授業を教師しています！
とにかく、阪神で初めて一週間立つと初めての百貨店でイベントを参加しました。大変だったけど、一緒に他の四人デザイナー達もいて、すごく楽しかったです。
そして、元々大阪住んだから友達もいっぱい会えてよかったです。と！新し人も出会えて嬉しかったです。今回のイベントも初めてキーホルダーとマスキングテープ作って、全部売り切れてほんとに感謝なことです。
